Norcal PTAC will host a free workshop on Friday, September 29th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm that will go over how to do business with the State of California and guide you on how to network with local government advocates and buyers.
The Norcal Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) helps small businesses find, bid, and win contracts from federal, state, local, and tribal agencies.
This workshop will give you an opportunity to network with local government advocates and buyers such as the Department of General Services, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, CAL FIRE, CHP, Consumer Affairs, California Public Utilities Commission, CSU East Bay and other state agencies.
You will learn how to:
- Find, bid on and win state government contracts
- Navigate Cal eProcure
- Easily get certified as a Small Business or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (SB/DVBE)
- Market your business to state agencies
- Advertise to prime contractors
- Receive free procurement assistance from Norcal PTAC
Featured speaker will be Wayne Gross, SB/DVBE Advocate for the State of California Department of General Services, Procurement Division. Wayne educates businesses seeking to understand and navigate the State’s procurement system.
