On February 3rd, 2017, Forbes Magazine featured an article on the City of Fairfield’s Lunch Mob titled, “As Restaurants Struggle, A California ‘Lunch Mob’ Comes To The Rescue.”
The Lunch Mob consists of City of Fairfield employees, who gather no less than once a month, and to celebrate the end of a work week by having lunch at one of the many local and friendly restaurants in Fairfield, California.
In an effort to promote economic prosperity, generate business, and bring attention to the many wonderful restaurants in Fairfield, the Lunch Mob was created by the City of Fairfield Economic Development staff including, Bob Burris (Economic Development Division Manager), Eric Dakin (Senior Economic Development Project Manager), Jennifer Rice (Real Estate Specialist II), and Sullina Sanchez (Student Intern II).
With the Lunch Mob in Forbes Magazine, we hope to not only support our local Fairfield restaurants, but to inspire the public to also get out and “Discover Fairfield!”
To date, the Lunch Mob has visited several restaurants including Evelyn’s Big Italian Pizza, Crush Wine & Food, Truffle Berries, Bella Vita Family Bistro, and Chez Soul. If you have a restaurant recommendation or would like to host the Lunch Mob at your restaurant, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
